Mrs. Marlene Carr, born June 07, 1965 to the union of the late Oscar and Annette Greene Mosley. She departed this life on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center at the age of 47 years. She was a life long resident of Leslie County and was a former employee of H & R Block where she worked as a tax preparer. Marlene enjoyed gardening, computers, and her pets. Most importantly, she enjoyed watching her daughter, Chelsea cheer at games and spending time with her children. She is preceded in death by her parents: Oscar and Annette Greene Mosley; grandparents: Wiley & Mary Mosley and John and Grace Henriches; one sister: Nona Lucille Adams. Mrs. Marlene Carr leaves the following relatives surviving: Her loving and devoted husband: Vernon Carr of Wooton, KY; One beloved son: James Lucas Nolan Carr of Wooton, KY; two beloved daughters: Crystal Gayle Lankford and Chelsea Michelle Carr, both of Wooton, KY; one brother: Oscar Wade Mosley of Wooton, KY; two sisters: Mary Grace Lewis and husband, J.C. of Hyden, KY, Norma Lee Joseph and husband, Robert Lee of Wooton, KY; Two grandchildren: Dustin Joseph and Jacob Joseph; Special friends: Shawna Shepherd and Angie Miniard; Funeral services for Mrs. Marlene Carr will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. - Saturday, September 15, 2012 from the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Ronnie Melton and Roger Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Singleton Cemetery at Wendover, KY. The family of Mrs. Carr will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. - Friday, September 14, 2012 at the funeral home.
