Mr. Amos Osborne age 74 of 2756 Big Vally Rd., Hyden, KY passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Mary Brekinridge Hospital in Hyden, KY. Born March 02, 1935 in Leslie County, KY to the union of Andrew and Mollie Napier Osborne. He was a resident of Indianapolis, IN for 16 years before moving back to Leslie County in 1963. By occupation he was a Skilled Beef Boner. He was united in marriage to Twila O'Neal Osborne in 1954. He enjoyed gardening, wood working, and most importantly spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents; Two Brothers: Andy and Donald; Seven Sisters: Olma, Dorothy, Jean "Tolk", Eria, Ethel, Joyce and Edith. He leaves the following relatives surviving: His loving and devoted wife of 56 Years: Twila Osborne of Hyden, KY; Two sons: Rick Napier and Jeanie of Arizona; Jimmy Osborne and Gina of Spring Hill, FL. Three daughters: Deborah Hoskins and Phillip; Delaina Baker and Bill; Wanda Couch and Pat all of Hyden, KY. Two special friends: Rachel Lewis and Anna Carol Jones. Special Caregivers: Staff of Mary Brekinridge Hospital and Hyden Nursing Home. Seven Grandchildren: Twynell, Joyell, William, Dylan, Joshua, Chandler and Makendrah. Seven Great Grandchildren: Nicholas, Kordell, James, Jarod, Allicyn, Noah and Rileigh. A host of many other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral Services for Mr. Amos Osborne will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday from the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home in Hyden with Wayne Bowling, Steve Springer and Roger Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Osborne Family Cemetery at Hyden, KY. The family entrusted Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home of Hyden to carefully handle the arrangements. The following will serve as pallbearers: Bill Baker, Robbie Witek, Kyle Wolfe, William Baker, Nathan Abrahams, Rodney Stidham, Eric Anderson and Michael Hunt.
