Mr. Casey Jones

Mr. Casey Jones, age 97, of Jones Fork Road, Sizerock, KY, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014 at his residence. He was born April 10, 1917 in Sizerock, KY to the union of he late Elijah and Lue Ellen Sizemore Jones. Casey was of the Baptist faith, he was a farmer by occupation. As a hobby, Casey enjoyed hunting. He was united in marriage to his loving and devoted wife, Mary Begley Jones on May 18, 1935 in Hyden, KY. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, John D. Jones, Jim Jones, Billy Jones, Ernest Jones, and Rufus Jones. Casey is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 79 years, Mary Jones of Sizerock, KY; two sons: Clayton Jones (Betty) of Milford, OH, and Arivel Jones (Judy) of Goshen, OH; three daughters: Sylvia Burton of Batanie, OH, Sallie Couch (Noah) of Bear Branch, KY, and Carol Jones of Sizerock, KY; one brother: Raleigh Jones (Lucille) of Dayton, OH; one sister: Gracie Belcher of Carolina, OH; eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 30, 2014 in the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Virgil Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the Jones Family Cemetery at Sizerock, KY. The family will receive friends at the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 29, 2014 and from 11:00 a.m. till the funeral hour Wednesday.
