Mr. John Lee Collett

Mr. John Collett, born June 24, 1948 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Sherman Collett and the late Nettie Whitehead. John departed this life on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the Wake Forrest Baptist Hospital in Winston - Salem , NC. He was 64 years and 3 days of age. John is preceded in death by His parents; wife: Georgia Hobson; two brothers: George North and John R. Collett; four sisters: Annie Johnson, Mahayla Mitchell, Carolyn Lewis and Juanita Tippin.Mr. John Collett leaves the following surviving: One daughter: Judy Collett of Fredric, MI; Special nephew: Bill Collett & Amy; Special friend: Deborah Jones; Nine grandchildren: Joshua, Jessie, Emily, Jennifer, Logan, Gracie, Jessica, Ashley and Samantha. A host of other family and friends also survive.The family has chosen cremation as a method of disposition. Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home of Hyden is in charge of arrangements.
