Mrs. Debra Ray

Mrs. Debra J. Ray, born June 23, 1953 in Akron, OH to the union of Ruby Hursell Lehrman and the late Ross Nipper. She departed this life on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at her residence at the age of 59 years. She was currently residing at 141 Berry Drive, Helton, KY at the time of her death. Debra was united in marriage to her loving and devoted husband: Clarence on June 24, 1979 in Akron, OH. By occupation, Debra was employed by the Leslie County KY River District Health Department. Debra was a faithful member of the Mozelle Church of God at Mozelle, KY. She enjoyed going to church, spending time with family and taking care of her grandchildren. Debra always was willing to give a helping hand to those in need. She was a loving: wife, mother and grandmother. Debra is preceded in death by her father: Ross Nipper; 2 - brothers: Michael and Danny Nipper. Mrs. Debra J. Ray leaves surviving: her beloved mother: Ruby Lehrman of OH; her loving and devoted husband: Clarence Ray of Helton, KY; 1 - son: Todd Ray and Ashley of Helton, KY; 1 - daughter: Gwendolyn Ray and Wesley Gilbert of Stinnett, KY; 1 - sister: Mary Geiger and James of Spartanburg, SC; Special friend: Minnie Brock; 3 -grandchildren and a host of other family, friends and church family also survive her passing. Funeral services will be conducted for Debra Ray at 1:00 P.M. - Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from the Mozelle Church of God with Geoffery Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Napier Cemetery at Bledsoe, KY. The family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M. - Monday, September 17, 2012 at the church.
