Nellie Mae Curry

Nellie Mae Curry, 67 of Manchester, Kentucky, departed this walk of life on Wednesday, June 03, 2015 at the Baptist Health in Corbin, Kentucky. She was born July 06, 1947 in Perry County, Kentucky to the union of the late Huey Holland and the late Pauline Watkins. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Manchester, Kentucky for most of her life. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Curry.

Nellie is survived by: three sons: Randy Holland, Michael Lee Scott, and Chad Curry, all of Manchester, KY; one step-son: Jimmy Curry (Charlotte) of Manchester, KY; two daughters: Paula Abner of Manchester, KY, and Tina Asher (Boyd) of Hyden, KY; one brother: Calvin Napier of OH; six sisters: Juanita Napier of Paducah, KY, Carol Feltner, Connie Burlew, Linda Jo Mitchell, and Pat Lemons, all of Manchester, KY, and Diane Gray of London, KY; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of other cherished relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 06, 2015 at the Morgan's Creek Baptist Church in Manchester, KY with Lynn Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in the Curry Branch Cemetery at Manchester. The family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M., Friday evening until the funeral hour on Saturday at the church.
