Nelson Couch

Mr. Nelson "Red Bird" Couch, born October 25, 1949 in Oneida, KY to the union of the late Pete Couch and the late Maude Barger Couch. He departed this life on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Hospice Care Center at the age of 62. He was a life long resident of Buckhorn, KY and by occupation was a truck driver. Nelson served honorably in the United States Army. Nelson is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: John, Lovel and Glen Couch; One sister: Nora Barger and one grandchild: Jaydon Calvert. Mr. Nelson Couch leaves the following relatives surviving: Two sons: Nelson Lee Couch of London, KY and Jonathan Gibson of Hyden, KY; Three daughters: Joyce Ann Couch of Big Creek, KY, Angela Kay Couch of Hyden, KY and Tiffany Gilbert Estep of London, KY; One brother: Russell Couch of Buckhorn, KY; Two sisters: Marie Gibson of Paris Crossing, IN and Edith Baker of Buckhorn, KY. Five grandchildren: Ryan Calvert, Leland Calvert, Trinity Estep, Dakota Shepherd and Nelson Couch, Jr.. A host of other family and friends also survive his passing.
