Oma Sue Nantz was born November 06, 1949, in Leslie County to the union of the late Caleb and Virgie Napier Holland. She had been a lifelong resident of Leslie County and was currently residing in Asher, KY.
Oma was a homemaker and enjoyed hunting, fishing, hunting ginseng and talking with people. She was a simple person and loved life as it was.
She departed this walk of life on April 29, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Hospital at the age of 73.
In addition to her parents, Oma was preceded in death by her husband, George Michael Nantz, two brothers, David, and William “Bill” Holland, one sister, Evelyn Brock and one infant brother.
Oma leaves surviving, four sons Wilfred Wilson (Michelle) of Thousandsticks, KY, James Wilson (Tammy) of Slemp, KY, Kyle Nantz (Charlette) of Helton, KY and Randy Simpson of Lexington, KY. Her longtime friend and companion, Jackie Nantz of Helton, KY, one brother, Marcus Holland (Lucy) of Warbranch, KY, three grandchildren Nick Wilson, James MV Wilson (Jennifer), and Devin Wilson. Her step-grandchildren, Ashley Bramble (Luke), Aaron Foreman, Tina Brock (Darrell), Tyler Bray, Cody Bray, Savannah Sizemore, Qwenton Sizemore, and Elijah Sizemore. Eight step-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
A funeral service for Oma Sue Nantz will be held at 1p.m. – Thursday at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home chapel.
Interment will follow in the Rye Cove Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home chapel from 6p.m. – 9p.m., Wednesday evening.
Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
