Oma Wells

Mrs. Oma Wells, born December 02, 1930 at Smilax, Kentucky to the union of the late Dewey Wells and the late Stella Wells. She departed this walk of life on Monday, November 05, 2012 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was 81- years, 11- months and 03- days of age at the time of her passing. She was a life long resident of Leslie County and was residing at 257 Wells Drive, Smilax, KY. Oma was a homemaker and was a devoted member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, KY. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting as her hobbies. Oma is preceded in death by her parents: Dewey and Stella Wells; 3- brothers: Harrison, Leo and Willis Wells. 3- sisters: Ona Day, Vina Day and Susie Day. Mrs. Oma Wells leaves the following relatives surviving: Her loving and devoted husband: Cletis Wells of Smilax, KY; 2-sons: Denny Ray Wells (Juanita) of Smilax, KY and Cletis Wells, Jr. (Teresa) of Smilax, KY; 2- daughters: Patsy Oliver of Smilax, KY and Etta McIntosh of Yeaddiss, KY; 1- brother: Eldon Wells (Lois) of Smilax, KY; 2- sisters: Shirley Fields of Wooton, KY and Sally Wells of Smilax, KY; 5- grandchildren: Layne Caldwell, Eric Caldwell, Jamie Dale Wells, Jordan Wells and Mark McIntosh; 4-great - grandchildren: Ericka Caldwell, Tanner Caldwell, Brody Wells and Gavyn Caldwell; A host of other cherished relatives and friends also survive her passing. Funeral services for Mrs. Oma Wells will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Thursday, November 08, 2012 from the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, KY with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Dewey Wells Cemetery at Smilax, KY.
