Paul Barrett

Mr. Paul Barrett, age 71 of Dewitt, KY was born is Leslie County, KY on June 05, 1943, the son of the late Chester and Chelsie Collett Barrett, and departed this life on Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Baptist Health in Corbin, KY. He was of the Protestant Faith and enjoyed playing Bluegrass Music, caring for his live stock and time with his family..

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an infant daughter; brother: McKinley Barrett; sister: Hazel Collett; a granddaughter: Sharon Ruth; grandson: Manuel Zepida.

Survivors include, his loving children: Paul Barrett, Jr., and wife Rachael of McKee, Lonnie Joe Barrett of London, Michael Lynn Barrett of Leslie Co, Brandon Barrett and wife Katrina of Mills Creek, Elaine Chelsie Barrett of IN, Paula Vines and husband Jason of AL, Serena Barrett of IN, and Kenneth Roberts of OH; six brothers: Caleb Barrett, Junior Barrett and wife Bonnie, all of Leslie County, Al Barrett of Barbourville, Elmer Barrett and James Barrett both of London; 20 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends mourn his passing.

Funeral services for Mr. Paul Barrett will be conducted Friday, March 20, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gilbert Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Barrett Family Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., and Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. funeral time.
