Pauline Collett

Pauline Collett was born December 09, 1930 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late Elmer and Delora Mosley Collett. Pauline was welcomed into her Heavenly home on Sunday, January 07, 2018. Pauline had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. She married the love of her life, Fred on April 26, 1948. Pauline was a homemaker and by occupation, Pauline was the bookkeeper for Collett & Smith Logging. She attended the Bowens Creek United Baptist Church at Essie, Kentucky where she was a dedicated member for over 50 years. Known to her family as "Big Mom", Pauline had a genuine love and concern for her family, always putting them first. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, church member and friend. She enjoyed attending church, cooking, sewing, and quilting. Pauline was 87 years old.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by one sister, Susie Holland.

Pauline leaves behind the following relatives, her loving and devoted husband of nearly 70 years, Fred Collett of Roark, KY; one beloved daughter, Jan Smith & husband, Kenneth of Roark, KY; six brothers, Earl Collett & wife, Mary, Kenneth Collett & wife, Louella, John Collett & wife, Carolyn, Marcus Collett & wife, Emily, Doyle Collett, and Freddie Collett & wife, Rita; five sisters, Edith Collett, Fern Maxwell, Joyce Hunley and husband, Eugene, Geraldine Collett & husband, Mason, and Rosetta Sizemore and husband, Steve; one cherished grandchild, Kenny Smith and wife, Kim; three treasured great-grandchildren, Colin Smith, Matthew Smith, and Reagan Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family and friends also survive her passing.

**SERVICE INFORMATION CHANGE (VISITATION & FUNERAL)**
Services for Pauline Collett will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home, Hyden, Kentucky with Carl Brown, Roger Wolfe, James Bowling, Jr. and Taylor Adams officiating. The interment will follow the services at the Collett Cemetery at Essie, Kentucky. Family and friends may gather for visitation after 6:00 P.M., Wednesday evening at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.

PALLBEARERS: David Collett, Keith Collett, Jamie Collett, Shawn Collett, Eric Collett, Kenny Collett, Stephen Paul Sizemore, and Timmy Sizemore.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Colin Smith, Matthew Smith, Earl Wayne Collett, Allen Hunley, Greg Hunley, Joe Collett, Mitchell Collett, Ronnie Holland, and Rickie Holland.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of
Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
