Pauline Collins

Ms. Pauline Collins was born March 07, 1942 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Damon and Lillie Howard Napier. She departed this life on Tuesday, October 22, 2012 at the Mary Breckinridge Hospital in Hyden, KY. She was 70 years, 07 months and 16 days of age at the time of her passing. Pauline was a life long resident of Leslie County, living most of her life at Essie, KY. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, house keeping, working in her flower garden and spending time with her dog. She had a passion for the outdoors and her friends were very dear to her. Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Johnny Collins; Brothers: William Edward Napier and Curtis Napier; Sisters: Bonnie Napier and Janet Barrett. Ms. Pauline Collins leaves surviving the following relatives: 1- son: Wayne Smith (Robin) of Lexington, KY; 1 - step-son: Keith Collins of Letcher County, KY; 1 - daughter: Wendy Collins of Roark, KY; 1 - step daughter: Martha Collins of Letcher County, KY; 1 - brother: Emmitt Napier of Essie, KY; 1 - sister: Eveline Smith of Essie, KY; Special friend: Wanda Lee Morgan Mosley of Essie, KY; 3 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Funeral services for Ms. Pauline Collins will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 26, 2012 from the Upper Grassy Branch Pentecostal Church of God at Essie, KY with Everett Eads, James Bowling, Jr., Jerry Holland and Jerry McKinley Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins Cemetery at Essie, KY. The family of Ms. Pauline Collins will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M. - Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the church.
