Ruby Hill

Ruby C. Hill of Hurricane Creek Road, Hyden, KY was born on October 04, 1944 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of the late John "Pluck" Bowling and the late Doshia Lewis Bowling. She departed this life peacefully on Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Saint Joseph Hospital-London. She was of the Church of Christ faith and was a member of the Hurts Creek Church of Christ. By occupation, Ruby was a Mail Carrier and employed by the United States Postal Service. Ruby enjoyed spending time with her family, sports, reading and going to church. She was Preceded in Death by: Parents: John "Pluck" Bowling and Doshia Lewis Bowling; Brothers: Johnny Bowling and Harold Bowling and 1 sister: Juanita Johnson. Ruby C. Hill leaves surviving the following relatives surviving: 1-son: Harold Callahan (Sheila) of London, KY; 1-daughter: Michelle Wilson (Wilfred) of Hyden, KY; 3-grandchildren: Ashley Callahan, Chris Henson and Nicholas Wilson. A host of other relatives and friends also survive her passing. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. - Thursday, March 28, 2013 from the chapel of the Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Mack Lewis and Rev. Roger Wolfe officiating. The following will serve as pallbearers: Wilfred Wilson, Wayne Sizemore, Allen Sizemore, Brian Johnson and Dean Leddington. The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. - Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at the funeral home chapel.
