Ruth Bowling

Ruth Hoskins Bowling was born June 30, 1940 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Alvin and the late Nancy Bowling Hoskins. She departed this walk of life on May 01, 2013 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY at the age of 72 years. Ruth was a life long resident of Leslie County and was a former employee of the Hyden Nursing Home where she worked in house keeping. Ruth was a member of the Stinnett Gap Church of God at Stinnett, KY. Her life revolved around God and Family. Ruth enjoyed going to church, quilting, cooking and working puzzles. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Charles Bowling; 2 children: Deborah Marie Wayne and Darrell Edward Wayne. Ruth H. Bowling leaves surviving the following surviving: 1 daughter: Betty Brock (Allen) of Asher, KY; 4 step children: Pam (Ken) Reinhart, Anita Schwarzbek (Mickey), Chris Miler (Duke) and Brenda Stantz (Jack), all of Ohio; 3 brothers: Jimmy Hoskins (Shirley) of Morgantown, OH, Patrick Hoskins (Mary Ann) of London, KY and Doyle Hoskins (Barbara) of London, KY; 3 sisters: Betty Hoskins (Bob), Romaine Smith (Corbal) and Evelyn Roark (Julius), all of Asher, KY; 13 grandchildren: Megan Morgan, Meghan Brock, Austin, Heidi, Caleb, Abby, Jason, Matthew, Jared, Jeremy, Aaron, Alison and Jessica; A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive her passing. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. - Saturday, May 04, 2013 at the Stinnett Gap Church of God at Stinnett, KY with James Bowling, Jr., Jimmy Hoskins and William Doyle Hoskins officiating. The burial will follow in the Hoskins Memorial Cemetery at Asher, KY. The following will serve as pallbearers: Mike Hoskins, Deris Hill, Greg Smith, Shawn Smith, R.C. Hoskins and William Doyle Hoskins. The family will receive friends for visitation after 4:00 P.M. - Friday, May 03, 2013 at the Stinnett Gap Church at Stinnett, KY. WOLFE & SONS FUNERAL HOME IN CHARGE
