Ryan Kyle Nantz

Ryan Kyle Nantz- Givens, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024 at Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.  Ryan was only 20 years old.  Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, on December 24, 2003, to Kyle Nantz and Crystal Goin Manning.  Ryan lived a life filled with love, passion, and creativity.  Ryan worked as a clerk at a sporting store. Ryan was artistic and his talents truly shone through. Ryan had an immense love for painting and drawing.

He could be described as an animal lover with a penchant for cooking, gardening, and playing video games. Ryan had a diverse set of interests that kept him engaged and fulfilled. His creativity extended beyond his artwork into the kitchen and virtual worlds where he found joy and relaxation.

One of Ryan's proudest accomplishments was being baptized at the age of 10 at the New Hope Baptist Church—a moment that held deep significance to him throughout his life.

Ryan was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Karen Gilbert, maternal grandfather David Goin, maternal great-grandmother Jean Atkins, and brother-in-law Brad Wilson.

He is survived by his beloved father Kyle Nantz (Heather Browning) of New Tazewell, TN; devoted mother Crystal Goin Manning (Johnny) of Washburn, TN; and devoted partner Isaiah Givens of Middlesboro, KY. Two sisters Katelynn Nantz of Washburn, TN, and Danielle Nantz Garrett of Jamestown, TN; paternal grandfathers Robert Nantz of New Tazewell, TN, Roger Gilbert of Stinnett, KY; maternal grandmother Gail Goin of New Tazewell, TN.

Other survivors include his cherished uncles Wes Gilbert (Gwen) of Wooton, KY, Kevin Bray (Niki) of London, KY, Paul Noah (Micayla) of New Tazewell, TN, Kendall Goin of Kingsport, TN; mother-in-law Rynea Givens of Middlesboro, KY; grandfather-in-law Ronnie Cooper of Harrogate, TN; sister-in-law Brionna Wilson of Arjay, KY; aunt-in-law Denise Cooper of Harrogate, TN. Nieces Halee Jones of Arjay, KY and Alexandria Redmon of Middlesboro, KY; nephews Jensen Frye of Arjay, KY and Blayden Wilson of Middlesboro, KY.

Ryan also leaves behind a host of other family, special cousins, and cherished friends.

The visitation for Ryan will be held at Arnett - Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate, TN on Thursday, February 29th from 6p.m. until 9p.m.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 1st starting at 11:00 AM at the Arnett - Steele Valley Chapel.

Interment will follow in the Gilbert & Hall Cemetery at Stinnett, KY with Kyle Nantz, Roger Gilbert, Isaiah Givens, Wesley Gilbert, Kevin Bray, and Johnny Manning serving as pallbearers.  Eric Manning, Aidan Manning and Tyler Williams will serve as honorary pallbearers.
