Sadie Holland Smith, born October 31, 1936 in Leslie County, KY to the union of the late Hershell Woods and the late Ollie Woods North. She departed this life on November 08, 2010 at the St. Joseph Hospital , London, KY. She was 74 Years and 08 days of age at the time of her death. She was residing at 846 Ulyesses Creek Road, Bear Branch, KY. She was a homemaker and a life long resident of Leslie County. She was of the holiness faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, singing and spending time with family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son: Marcus Lee Collins and one sister: Lula Salyers. Sadie leaves the following relatives surviving: one son: Dustin Ray Holland & Dawn of Bell County. Five daughters: Audrey Hodge of London, KY, Debra Ann Wagers & Hargus of London, KY, Judy Elkins & Gary of London, KY, Beverley Roark & Kenneth of Leslie County, Thelma Lawson & Roger of Big Creek, KY. One brother: Hershell Woods, Jr. of Hyden, KY. Seven sisters: Ema Miller of Hindman, KY, Lita Salyers of Big Creek, KY, Jean Lawson of Bear Branch, KY, Janice Ruth Bowling of Bear Branch, KY, Helen Medlin of Georgia, Iva Lee Collins of Bear Branch, KY, Viney Woods also of Bear Branch, KY. 22 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a host of other special family and friends also survive.
