Taegan Mosley, born December 2, 2008, in Hyden, Kentucky, departed this walk of life on July 25, 2026, in Bear Branch, Kentucky, at the young age of seventeen. Though his time among us was brief, Taegan’s presence was a source of light, joy, and kindness that touched the lives of all who knew him.

From his first days, Taegan stood out for the warmth and humility he brought into every room. He was deeply respectful and polite, greeting everyone with a smile and a kind word. He never met a stranger; each new acquaintance soon felt like an old friend thanks to his open heart and engaging spirit. Taegan’s zest for life was infectious—he was the life of any gathering, his laughter and energy uplifting those around him. He loved everyone and embraced each moment with a pleasant and humble spirit.

Faith formed the cornerstone of Taegan’s life. Attending church was one of his greatest joys, and serving the Lord was his top priority. With unwavering devotion, Taegan praised the Lord with his talents.  He was well known for his dedication and sincerity, living each day as a testament to his beliefs and spreading positivity wherever he went.

Family meant everything to Taegan. He cherished the moments spent with his loved ones, treasuring both quiet conversations and lively gatherings. His genuine affection for family and friends was evident in his everyday life.

Taegan is survived by his loving father, Ben Mosley, and devoted mother, Brittany Napier Mosley. He is also survived by his brother, Lucas Mosley, and his sister, Taesley Mosley; His grandfather, Manuel Mosley, and grandmother, Teresa Napier Sizemore;

Other survivors include his very special uncle Michael Napier, aunts Ashley Bowling (Brandon), Lacey Mosley, and Rachel Amburgy, and uncles George Gilbert and Jeff Sizemore, as well as his fiancee Olivia Asher.

He was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Judy L. Gilbert, grandfather, Jeffrey G. Sizemore, and his great grandparents.

The funeral service to commemorate his life will be held at 12 noon Friday, July 31, 2026 at the Roark Pentecostal Church at Roark, Ky with Tom Elliott, Demus Couch, Randy Woods, Ronnie Hoskins, Rod Shackelford, and Richard Asher officiating.  The obituary will be read by "Squeaky"Turner

Interment will follow the services at the Jack Napier Cemetery at Thousandsticks, KY with family & friends serving as pallbearers.

Family & friends may gather after 6pm Thursday evening, July 30, 2026 at the church.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the personal direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home
