Tim Young

Timothy Young, born July 02, 1959 in Pulaski County, Ky to the late Joseph Arthur Young and Shirley Ashbrook Young.  Tim had been a long-time resident of Saul, Ky, with the exception of living in Ohio for a few years. 

Tim's life was spend on the roads around America, driving a truck for more than 20 years.  After his career in trucking, he spent a brief time driving a school bus for the Perry County Board of Education Transportation Department.  His career in trucking was something that he loved and had a passion for.  He enjoyed the scenery and getting to visit different places around the nation.  

Aside for his love for trucking, Tim cherished the time spent with family and friends.  He was well loved and respected in his community; known for his kind hearted nature and willingness to help others in the time of need.  

He was a beloved husband to his wife Rhonda, and a wonderful step father to her son, Nick.

Tim passed from this life on Sunday, September 06, 2026 at his home at the age of 67.

Other survivors include a daughter, Melissa Mendosa; Brother James Young of Saul, Ky; Sisters Mira Hinkle (Owen) of West Chester, Oh, June Franklin (Dougie) of Saul, Ky, and Wilma Flin of Lexington, Ky.  As well as special friend and sister-in-law Glenna Woods (Kerry) of Saul, Ky;  Two grandchildren, and his special pet companion, "Onyx".  A host of dear friends also mourn his passing. 

In keeping Tim's wishes, there will be no public services held.  A private graveside service will be held to honor Tim's life.
