Todd Aaron Simpson was born April 04, 1991 in Hyden, KY to Michael Simpson and Carol Roark Adams.
He was a former Sawmill Worker, employed by Begley’s Sawmill. He loved his job and took pride in his work. During his time at Begley’s, he established many long-time friendships with his co-workers. Todd had been a life-long resident of Leslie County except for living in Campbellsville for the last part of his life.
Todd was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a sports fan, with Basketball being his favorite sport.
June 25th, 2024, Todd sadly departed this life in Campbellsville, KY at the age of 33.
Todd was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Sampson and Maggie Roark, as well as his cherished daughter Carter Maggie Simpson.
Todd leaves behind his loving father Michael Simpson and stepmother Martha, his loving mother Carol Roark Adams and stepfather Tommy; One son Sabastian Ryan Simpson; one brother Shawn E. Simpson and two stepsiblings Christopher Brock and Katie Brock. His paternal grandparents Jimmy and Molly Simpson. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also mourn his passing.
The funeral service to commemorate the life of Todd will be held at 11a.m. – Wednesday, July 03, 2024, at the New Hope Community Church with Denver Brock and Tim Finley officiating.
The interment will follow the services at the Brock Cemetery at Warbranch, KY with Shawn Simpson, Tommy Adams, Hurlan Adams, Jerry Simpson, Brian Simpson, Landon Simpson and Peyton Brock serving as pallbearers.
Friends and family may gather for visitation after 6p.m. Tuesday evening, July 02, 2024, at the New Hope Community Church.
Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
