Vanda Dodson

Vanda June Dodson, age 62 of Hyden, KY, passed away on Friday, December 06, 2013 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center. She was born, May 24, 1951 to the union of the late Harry T.J. Bell and the late Anna Lee Morgan Bell. By occupation she was a restaurant worker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking. She is preceded in death by her parents; Brother: James Bell; Sister: Evelyn Simpson. Vanda leaves surviving the following relatives: Her loving and devoted husband: Russell Dodson of Hyden, KY 2-sons: Russell Allen Dodson and David Anthony Dodson (Stacie), both of Hyden, KY; 3-daughters: Robin Ann Hill (Dana) of Hyden, KY, Krystle Gail Davidson (Robert) of Stinnett, KY and Misty Michelle Dodson of Hyden, KY; 1 brother: John Bell (Gail) of Hyden, KY and Anita Sizemore (Dennis) of Dayton, OH; Grandchildren: Michael, Scott, Falicia, Courtney, Nick, Amber (Nick), Dylan, Matthew, Russell, Joshua, Kaitlyn, Will, Chyenne and A.J.; Great-grandchild: Kaylee; A host of other family and friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. - Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from the Rockhouse Pentecostal Church with Teddy Couch, Micheal Joseph and William Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at the Dodson - Walker Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation after 6:00 P.M. - Sunday, December 08, 2013 until the funeral hour at the church. The following will serve as pallbearers: David Dodson, Allen Dodson, Dana Hill, Robert Davidson, Dylan Davidson, Matthew Hacker, Nicholas Begley, Michael Dodson, Billy Roberts and Stevie Johnson. In Lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
