V ickie Long, Oneida, Kentucky was born August 30, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky to the union of the late William and Joan Deaton Wells.  Vickie departed this life on Sunday, December 02, 2018 at the Norton Hospital, Louisville, Kentucky.  Vickie was aged 58 years.  She was of the Baptist faith and was affiliated with the Brutus Baptist Church at Oneida, Kentucky.  Vickie enjoyed cooking and sewing.

Vickie leaves behind three sons, William Wells of Oneida, KY, Kevin Wells of Jacksonville, IN, and James Long of Louisville, KY;  two daughters, Christina Cain (Darrell) and Susie Long, both of Louisville, KY;  two brothers, Herman Wells and Jesse Wells, both of Louisville, KY;  three sisters, Alberta Ewing, Kelly, and Janet Miller, all of Louisville, KY;  six cherished grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
