Willard Barger, Sr

Mr. Willard Barger, born November 23, 1933 at Hyden, KY to the union the late George Barger and the late Elizabeth Bowling. He departed this life on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was 77 years of age at the time of his death. He was a resident of Hyden, KY with the exception of having lived in Indiana and London, KY for a short time. By occupation he was a retired coal miner and security guard for Childers Oil Company. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers: Clay, Leslie, Varley and Lawrence Barger. Six sisters: Ola Gay, Margaret Gibson, Sadie Collins, Merkie Hensley, Pauline Barger and Myrtle Hensley. Willard leaves the following surviving, 6 sons: Willard Barger, Jr. & Vickie, Varley Barger, Jamie Barger & Pat, Jerry Barger & Cindy, Eddie Barger & Miranda and Johnnie Barger & Terri. Two step-sons: Archie Collins and Eric Brown. Three Daughters: Belinda Wagers & Lonnie, Angie Collett and Shirley Barger. 16 Grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
