Winnie Muncy was born March 28, 1946 in Clay County, Kentucky. She was born to the union of the late Tinsley and Jemima Smith.
Winnie had been a life-long resident of Clay and Leslie Counties; she was currently residing at Stinnett, KY. She was a beloved homemaker to her family that she cherished so much. She was of the Church of Christ faith and was a devoted member of the Stinnett Church of Christ.
While God and family held the top spot in Winnie's life, she cherished the time spent with her family, as well as attending church. Winnie enjoyed herself most when she was going to yard sales and flea markets. Above all, Winnie plainly enjoyed the simplicity of life.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Winnie just simply loved people, and enjoyed being around others.
Winnie departed this walk of life on Friday, August 30, 2024 at the age of 78.
In addition to her parents, Winnie was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Muncy, three brothers Green, Chester, and Virgil Smith. As well as one sister, Clemmie Lienert.
Winnie leaves behind her three beloved daughters Bobby Muncy, Clementine "Clemmie" Hacker (Scott), and Diana Feltner (Kenneth). Her three cherished grandchildren Andrew Hacker, Shayla Hacker and Lance Feltner. Her treasured great-grandchildren Avary James Hacker, Emery Dean Hacker, Lakyn Scott Hacker, Emma Grace Feltner, Darren Kenneth Feltner, and one to be born later this year. She also leaves behind one special sister-in-law Christine Smith and her beloved dog Bandit.
The funeral service to remember the life of Winnie Muncy will be held at 2p.m. Wednesday at Stinnett Church of Christ with Keith Bowling officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hacker Cemetery at Stinnett, KY with Scott Hacker, Andrew Hacker, Lance Feltner and Kenneth Feltner serving as pallbearers.
Friends and family may gather for visitation from 11a.m. until the service hour at 2p.m. on Wednesday at the church.
