Charles Sizemore

Charles Sizemore was born June 04, 1945 in Hyden, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Susan Asher Sizemore.  He had been a life-long resident of Leslie County and was residing at Thousandsticks, KY at the time of his passing.  He was united in marriage to Juanita Napier on February 12, 1980.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter, especially rabbit and deer hunting.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and riding his pioneer.

Charles passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Hazard A.R.H. Medical Center at the age of 76.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy Scott Sizemore and Lawrence Baker, as well as one brother, Clyde Sizemore.

Survivors include, his loving & devoted wife, Juanita Napier Sizemore of Thousandsticks, KY; four sons, Billy Keith Sizemore & Shona of Mozelle, KY, Charles Boyd Sizemore & Polly of Hyden, KY, Jeffrey Bowling & Henrietta of Thousandsticks, KY and Charles Clifford Carol of Jackson, KY; five daughters, Patricia Baker & Rocky of Somerset, KY, Laura Adams of Lexington, KY, Tracy Simpson of Leatherwood, KY, Emmalene Wells & Ricky of Somerset, KY and Tina Eldridge & Bill of Thousandsticks, KY.  Other survivors include, one brother, Lige Sizemore of Hyden, KY, three sisters, Vanda Turner & Ronnie of Thousandsticks, KY, Verda Caldwell and Wilma Caldwell, both of Helton, KY.  Special friends, Bruce Allen Maggard, Bubba Price, Hamlin Napier, Charles Pewee Holland, Paul & Angie Osborne and Jerry Maggard.  A host of cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Charles Sizemore will be held at 2p.m. – Thursday at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Ted Couch, Roger Wolfe and Ronnie Allen Turner officiating.  Interment will follow in the Jack Napier Cemetery at Thousandsticks, KY with Lance Turner, Brent Osborne, Brandon Osborne, Bubba Price, Tyler Eldridge, Billy Keith Sizemore and Charles Boyd Sizemore serving as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends for visitation from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. – Wednesday at the chapel.
