Clarence Howard

Clarence Howard was born March 27, 1942 in Hyden, Kentucky, a son of the late Robert “Bobby” Howard & the late Mary Farler Howard.  Clarence spent most of his life in Hyden, Kentucky and by occupation he was a former factory worker. Clarence was of the Church of Christ faith and was a member of the Stinnett Church of Christ at Hoskinston, Kentucky.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  Clarence enjoyed life to the fullest, he loved to laugh and had an infectious smile.  Clarence loved family and enjoyed the time spent with them.

Clarence departed this walk of life on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the age of 69.

In addition to his parents, Clarence was preceded in death by his loving & devoted wife, Linda Wheeler Howard and his beloved daughter, Ida Melinda Howard.

Clarence leaves behind three beloved sons, C.J. Howard & wife, Kathy of Barbourville, KY. Dan Howard & wife, Tracie of Hazard, KY and Shane Howard & wife, Jennifer of Avawam, KY.  Other survivors include, three brothers, James Paul Howard & wife, Grace of Hyden, KY, George Stephen Howard & wife, Margie of Wabash, IN, and Kirby Howard & wife, Sue of Springfield, OH, five sisters, Audrey Woods & husband, Charles of Oneida, KY, Loretta Gibson & husband, Don of Wabash, IN, Vanda Sawyers & husband, Jerry of Wooton, KY, Margery Bennett & husband, Jim of North Manchester, IN and Connie Feltner & husband, Bruce.  Six cherished grandchildren, Isaiah, Cameron, Austin, Clay, Carlee and Kyla.  A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. – Sunday, May 16, 2021 at Stinnett Church of Christ with his son, Shane Howard and Keith Bowling officiating.  Interment will follow the services at the Singleton Cemetery at Wendover, KY.  The Howard family will receive friends at Stinnett Church of Christ on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at 3:00 P.M.
