Danny R Begley

Danny R. Begley, 75, of Dryhill Road, Hyden, Kentucky departed this walk of life on Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Martin County Health & Rehab in Inez, KY.  Danny was born February 08, 1945 in Williamson, WV, a son of the late Mason and Thelma Maynard Begley.  He a resident of Leslie County except for living in Michigan many years.  By occupation, he was an Auto Factory worker, retired from General Motors, Cadillac Division.  Danny served honorably for three years in the United States Army.  Danny enjoyed engine car repair and in his earlier years, he enjoyed motorcycles.  Above all, Danny enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mason and Thelma Maynard Begley; two infant brothers, Mason Begley, Jr. and Gordon Edward Begley, one brother, Earl Edward Begley; two sons, Danny Begley, Jr. and Ray Lee Guinn.

Survivors include, two sons,  Scott Begley of CO and Joey Allen Begley of AZ;  a step daughter, Jennifer Lynn Guinn; two brothers, Gary Neal Begley & wife, Ruth Evelyn of Cornettsville, KY and Hargis “Butch” Begley & wife, Martha Joy of Celina, OH; three sisters, Martha Jane Roberts of Bowling Green, KY, Angela Anne Begley (Muncy) Dave of Inez, KY and Pamela Sue Webb & husband, Homer Dennis of Celina, OH;  A host of grandchildren also survive.

A Celebration of Danny’s life will be held later in the spring.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
