Earl Dewyane Collins was born August 27, 1978 in Harlan, Kentucky to the union of Edna Johnson Collins and the late Earl Collins.

By occupation, Earl was a former coal miner.  He had a strong work ethic and enjoyed staying busy.  His love for his family was fierce, especially for his mother and daughter.   Earl enjoyed fishing, riding dirt bikes and four wheelers, as well as reading his Bible.  He also had a love for classic cars.

Earl departed this walk of life on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in Hazard, KY at the age of 44.

In addition to his father, Earl was preceded in death by one sister, Rhonda Collins and one brother, Michael “Mikey” Collins.

Earl leaves surving one cherished daughter, Emmaleigh Collins of Wooton, KY, his beloved mother, Edna Johnson Collins of Hazard, KY, one brother, Randy Collins of Hazard, KY, three sisters, Donna Mitchell (Tony) of Walton, KY, Melissa Clark (David) of TN and Brandy Lewis (John Clutts & sons) of Hazard, KY.  Other survivors include, his special uncle, Charles Jake Coots of Hazard, KY, mother of his daughter, Christa Brock of Wooton, KY, nephews, Justin Mitchell, Duke Mitchell, Connor Lewis, Colin Lewis and Grant Brock, nieces, Brittany Mitchell and Amber Branson and Izabella Brock, great nephews Greyson and Liam, great niece, Naomi.  As well as a host of other great nieces and great nephews also survive.

A private funeral service and visitation will be held at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Adams Cemetery at Yeaddiss, KY.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
