Geraldine “Gerri” Reynolds Roark, age 91 of Corbin, KY, formerly of Hazard, passed away peacefully at her home on July 23, 2020. Geraldine was born on August 31, 1928 to the late James and Alice Smith. Geraldine was the widow of Fred Reynolds.
Gerri was of the Baptist faith and a member of Frankfort Baptist Church. Gerri was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family, specifically her grandchildren. Gerri enjoyed attending church and listening to her favorite gospel group, “The Believers”. Gerri loved shoes, loved going shopping, loved to cook for her family and decorate her home. Gerri had an exceptional strong work ethic and she successfully instilled that ethic into each of her three children.
In addition to her parents (James and Alice Smith) and husband (Fred Reynolds), Gerri is preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Reynolds Caudill, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ed and Bonnie Reynolds and three sisters, Jeanette Sullivan, Juanita Gabbard and Mary Jo Jackson.
Gerri is survived by her son, Tim Reynolds and wife Maxi of Hazard, KY and her son John Reynolds and wife Sherry of Corbin, KY. Gerri is also survived by her grandchildren, Beverly Caudill, Majd Alssaman, Jodi Caudill Hall and husband Brian, Chrissy Caudill, Meredith Smith and husband Joshua, Megan Reynolds, Sydney Reynolds, Alayna Reynolds and John Cade Reynolds. Gerri is survived by 5 great grandchildren, Hannah Farmer, Nicholas Hall, Ella Hall, Brody Caudill and Theo Smith. Gerri is survived by two sisters, Elsie Roll and Betty Jim Donahue. In addition, Gerri leaves behind very special caregivers Catie and Lauren Walters as well as a host of other family members and friends. Gerri will be dearly missed by many.

*Current funeral services will be private. A memorial celebration of Gerri's Life will be scheduled at a later date. Private Burial will be held Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Riverside Cemetery in Hazard, KY.
