Johnny Adams

Johnny Adams, age 78, of Wooton, Kentucky,  passed away Friday, October 01, 2021 at the Mary Breckinridge A.R.H. Hospital.  He was born February 10, 1943 in Leslie County, KY, a son of the late Theo and Lula Baker Adams.  Johnny was a coal miner, retired from Blue Diamond Coal Company.  He enjoyed hunting ginseng and playing pool.

Johnny is survived by two brothers, Wesley Adams & wife, Betty, and Troy Adams, both of Wooton, KY,  three sisters, Clearise Spencer of Hazard, Kentucky, Lelia Miller of Dwarf, KY and Ellen Brewer of Wooton, KY. He is also survived by a host of other family and friends.

Johnny  was preceded in death by four brothers, Coy, Curtis, Carlos and Freeman Adams and two sisters, Essia Adams and Marie Adams.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.at the Adams Cemetery on Leeco Road at Wooton, Kentucky with Lonnie Adams officiating.,  Interment will follow the service.

The family has entrusted Wolfe and Sons Funeral Home to carefully handle all the arrangements.
