Paula Ann Joseph was born January 30, 1947, in Peru, IN to the union of the late Earl William Edwards and the late Bertha Mae Davis Ware. She spent her younger years working in factories and care taking. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Herman Joseph on April 08, 1972. She moved to Leslie County in 1979 from Indiana and was residing at Yeaddiss, KY. Paula enjoyed crocheting, playing games on the computer and bingo. Her favorite things to do were fishing and dancing. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren.
She departed this walk of life on Sunday, July 24, 2022, at her residence at the age of 75.
In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ralph Ware, beloved son, Thomas Banks, Jr., brother, Donald W. Ware, sisters, Betty Lee Edwards, Carla J. Ware and Clover Bearfield. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, William Browning and a great grandson, Owen Baker.
Paula leaves surviving her loving & devoted husband of 50 years, Herman Joseph of Yeaddiss, KY, one son, Ricky Joseph of Yeaddiss, KY, two daughters, Tammy Causey and Penny Baker (Tommy), both of Yeaddiss, KY. Other survivors include a daughter she loved as her own, Tina Callirgos (Dancy) of Peru, IN, son she loved as her own, Bobby Pollard, two daughters-in-law, Kim Banks of Old Hickory, TN, and Melody Joseph of Yeaddiss, KY, her cherished grandchildren, William Browning, Jr. (Cheyenne), Danielle Lewis (Nicholas), Josh Baker (Samantha), Tiffany Joseph, Tracy Wilson (Zachary), Crystal Day (Matthew), Hayley Joseph, and Kendrick Joseph, treasured great-grandchildren, Alivia Lewis, Kensie Barger, Alliannah Lowe, Tristan Baker, Colton Lewis, Kaiden Barger, Kiana Joseph, Arabella Wilson, Kailyn Lowe, Ariana Day, Bryson Lewis, Hunter Day, and Owen Browning. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022, at the Big Fork Church of God at Yeaddiss, KY with Pastor Micheal Joseph and Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating.
Interment will follow in the Joseph Cemetery at Yeaddiss, KY with Zachary Wilson, Nicholas Lewis, Matthew Day and William Browning, Jr. serving as pallbearers.
The Joseph family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the church.
