Rosey Hoskins, of London, Kentucky, formerly of Leslie County, was born March 02, 1957 in Leslie County, Kentucky to the union of Margaret Smith Hoskins and the late Warren Hoskins.  She was united in marriage to John Henry Hoskins on September 06, 1975 at Mozelle, Kentucky.  She was of the Holiness faith and was a devoted member of the Lily Holiness Church at Lily, Kentucky.  By occupation, Rosey was a Business Billing Manager.  Rosey was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.  She had a pleasant presence, and her smile would light up the room.  She had a genuine love and concern for people.  She was only an arm’s reach away for anyone in need.  Rosey was Godly, kind, selfless and caring.  She loved the Lord with all her heart and took great joy in singing and playing the piano to worship Him.  Rosey’s hobbies included, sewing, quilting and canning.  Rosey departed this walk of life on Monday, November 23, 2020.  She was 63 years. 

In addition to her father, Rosey was preceded in death by two beloved sons, Joseph Hoskins and Darren “Egg Head” Hoskins.

Rosey leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of  45 years, John Henry Hoskins of London, KY; her beloved mother, Margaret Smith Hoskins of Keavy, KY; one son, Steven Hoskins & wife, Pam of Morgantown, WV; one daughter, Aretha Roberts & husband, Jerry of London, KY; one brother, Charles Hoskins & wife, Wanda of Keavy, KY; three sisters, Maggie Whitlatch & husband, Gary of Keavy, KY,  Sarah Hoskins & Jeff Hubbard of London, KY, and Loretta Mills of Barbourville, KY; eight cherished grandchildren, Joseph Roberts, Joshua  Roberts, Nell Roberts, Hannah Hoskins, James Hoskins, Charles Hoskins, John Hoskins and Julie Choate; six great-grandchildren and a host other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral and visitation will be held at Lily Holiness Church at Lily, Kentucky with Ryan Osborne and Michael Hoskins officiating.  Interment will follow in the Hoskins Family Cemetery at London, Kentucky. 

Due to mandates set forth by Gov. Beshear, services will be private.

Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
