Sherry Darlene Cornett

Sherry Darlene Cornett, age 51 of Yeaddiss, Kentucky passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021.  She was born August 08, 1970 in Leslie County, Kentucky the daughter of Lowell Cornett and the late Shirley Kilburn.  She was formerly employed at the Hyden Nursing Home.  She enjoyed 4-wheeler riding, fishing, watching t.v. and spending time with her family.

Sherry was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Cornett and a sister, Deborah Bailey.

Survivors include, her father, Lowell Cornett of Smilax, Kentucky,  father of her children, Ray Coots of Yeaddiss, Kentucky, two daughters, Debra Coots and Robbie Roark of Yeaddiss, Kentucky, and Polly Coots and Doug Wooton of Wooton, Kentucky, one brother, Anthony and Crystal Cornett of Yeaddiss, Kentucky, one sister, Sandra and Greg Davidson of Yeaddiss, Kentucky.Three Grandchildren Iris Raylene Wooton, Ruby Jane Wooton, Robbie Ray Roark and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at Yeaddiss, Kentucky with Rev. Don Kilburn officiating.  Burial will follow in the Coots Cemetery at Yeaddiss, Kentucky.  The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday 11:00 am - 2:00 p.m. The family has entrusted Wolfe and Sons Funeral Home to carefully handle all the arrangements.
