Teresa Sue Adams was born December 19, 1969 in Leslie County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Paul Day and the late Ruby Ann Vernon. Teresa was a loving person, she loved everyone, especially her grandchildren. She was respectively known by them as Nana. She enjoyed being outdoors and ATV riding with her husband, Leon. She especially enjoyed riding in the fall time of year. She loved to cook and enjoyed sewing, as well.
Teresa departed this walk of life on Sunday, October 16, 2022 in Lexington, KY at the age of 52.
In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Thomas & Viola Lewis Day, maternal grandparents, Woodrow & Cleda Maggard Vernon, one beloved niece, Jazmin Sizemore and her father-in-law, Johnny Adams.
Teresa is survived by her beloved husband, Leon Adams of Yeaddiss, KY, two sons, Willis Adams (Kora) of Willard, KY and George Bailey of Cutshin, KY, three daughters, Contessa Cawood (Mark) of Cutshin, KY, Bethany Campbell (Justin) of Mozelle, KY and Brandy Adams of Chavies, KY. Other survivors include two sisters, Patricia Eversole of London, KY and Polly Sizemore (J.R.) of Cutshin, KY; nineteen cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Cameron, Bryant, Cooper, Andrew, Dalton, Riley, Matthew, Bella, Karalina, Waylon, Jordyn, Lincoln, Scarlett, Maddox, Bentley, McKenzie, Brantley and Emmit. One great-grandchild, Kane Anthony. A host of other family and friends also survive.
The funeral service for Teresa Sue Adams will be held at 2p.m. – Friday at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ at Smilax, KY with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating.
Interment will follow at the Lewis – Creech Cemetery at Wooton, KY.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6p.m. – 9p.m. on Thursday evening at the church.
Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home
