Willie D. Madden, born May 28, 1957 in Beverly, KY to the late Hubert and Phebie Brock Madden. Willie had been a life-long resident of Leslie County and was residing at Wooton, KY. By occupation he was employed by the Leslie County Fiscal Court for over 25 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed riding four wheelers with his friends. He also enjoyed Nascar and University of Kentucky sports. Above all, Willie enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Willie departed this life on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at his residence. Willie was 64 years old.
In addition to his parents, Willie was preceded in death by his significant other, Barbara Davis, a brother, Hubert Lester Madden, Jr. and a stepdaughter, Missy Caldwell.
Willie leaves behind, one beloved daughter, Melinda Hoskins (Steven) of Stinnett, KY, beloved son, William H. Madden of Hyden, KY, stepdaughter, Betty Lewis of Tazwell, TN and stepson, Robert Davis of Tazwell, TN. Other survivors include, two brothers, Arnold Madden (Peggy) of Columbus, IN and Buford Madden (Paula) of Scipio, IN, one sister, Loretta Amburgy. His cherished grandchildren, Lynsey Paige Wilson, Kimber Lynn Hoskins, Aexi Hoskins, Madison Napier, Austin Caldwell, JJ Caldwell and Jaymastin Caldwell, special friend, Don Baker of Wooton, KY.
Services for Mr. Willie D. Madden will be held at 2p.m. – Thursday, March 03, 2022 at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Jamie Roberts officiating.
Interment will follow in the Madden Cemetery at Wooton, KY with Robert Davis, Kevin Evans, Alan Boggs, Edward Madden, Russell Baker, Steven Hoskins, Kent Asher and Jordon Wilson serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 6p.m. – 9p.m. – Wednesday evening at the funeral home chapel.
